The whole state of material affairs in our country is embarrassing. I know I'm far from perfect, but I'm beginning to recognize the over-consumption/consipicuous consumption, and that's a start. Or perhaps I should say that's an "end" -- and end to my own over-consumption.<BR/><BR/>I also wanted to mention that now that I've resumed composting kitchen scraps and making sure that I recycle everything possible (not ideal, but better than the landfill), we put out only a single bag of garbage this week.
