Hey Dave,

I'm curious-- how is it that you know what can and cannot be recycled? I've been looking online to see if there is any comprehensive database of which things can and cannot be recycled. For example, my plastic yogurt container. Would you happen to have any resources you use which you find useful to outline these things?

Thanks!

You're almost there! Go Dave!

And thanks for bringing us along on the journey via blog.... I've enjoyed it and learned SO much.

Shannon,
There are ots of good resources out there like earth911.org. The problem is that each area is going to be different. I contacted my local recycler early on to find out what they accepted and what they didn't. Your best bet is to contact the recycling facility for your area and find out the specifics of what they do and don't accept. I;d call your local government office and see what info they can give you.

Do you use toilet paper??? I don't see any mention to those little roles and was curious anyways whether or not you would add all that paper to your list???

Hah, thanks for keeping me honest anonymous. i do use toilet paper and had a few rolls sitting in a basket in the bathroom. I kept on meaning to bring them downstairs but had been lazy so you'll notice i just put them down there this week. Past months will show more. TP is hard when you aren't alone cuz you aren't the only one using it.

Thanks for keeping me honest!
