That's a great idea. Everything will eventually become trash but at least there are efforts to delay the time. It seems very difficult for people to stop producing plastics.

Great site and cause. I love the plastic bottle castle, I recently wrote an article on my blog about how the use of stainless steel water bottles instead of plastic bottles can stop the plastic insanity.

If using and disposing of plastic bottles has proven to be detrimental to the environment, why do you think manufacturers insist about using them for soft drinks or water and not even explore the idea of alternative materials that could be more recyclable?

Dollars and cents. Sadly that's what iut comes out to. As long as they can bottle them cheaply and everyone keeps on buying, they'll keep doing it. We the people need to speak up!

I like the idea i think it is cool. I do not think its the best way to use the material if something goes wrong with the house.

In a way this is ironic. These people are showing what they can do with plastic bottles. Yes, they are reusing the bottles which is much better than throwing them away but the bottles just further emphasis the problem that is occuring in the world. In a way the under lying idea is that the whole world will become trash if we can not put a stop to the problem now. I guess it all depends on the viewer though whether they feel this house is positive or not.

This is absolutely amazing. It really shows what people are able to do with plastic bottles and defines the meaning of "recycling". I don't think it would be the best material for the house though because it wouldn't withstand too much.

I found this completely amazing! It definitely shows an alternative way that plastic bottles can be used. I wonder if in the future more houses such as this one can be found. Have you ever considered making your house out of plastic bottles?

I don't know how practical this really is, but it's an interesting idea. Sort of shows how ridiculous the whole plastic bottle thing is though.

Neat to think about. But, it almost seems like an advertisement for PET plastic bottles. I wonder if the PET water bottle company knows about this.

I think that the point here is to show how long the bottles will be around. If the house stays in tact for 10 or 20 years, then that's how long the plastic will be around under more normal circumstances.

And to think all of those bottles could be siting in a landfill! This is a very unique, artsy, and GREEN way to recycle! My only question is how the house has privacy.. considering you can see through all the walls! Awesome idea though, and a great way to raise awareness.

Ha, I never really thought about that. Again this might not be the most practical house, but if you have a ton of water bottles and no house, it may be the most practical use for the bottles. Wonder what would happen if they filled them with earth?
