Too funny
Did this about a year ago. The Disney execs son heard me on the radio and thought I was funny so they called and asked me to do the voice. Originally there were supposed to be 12 small videos about the environment which I was supposed to help shape so I figured it was a good way to get a message out to a larger audience. Once I signed on, the economy tanked and they shrunk it down quite a bit, but it's still fun and gets the idea of electric vehicles into kids heads.
Kind of cool, even if they do have me wearing shoes.

That's a cool idea. The more we think about green technology we'll go a step closer to a better earth. Dependency on fossil fuel should be lower down.
Hello Mr. Dave,
My name is Ricki Ruffin and I'm posting a comment on your blog for my Ap environmental class. It's cool that you were able to show kids the benefit of eco-friendly items. Because you know that kids our America's future and showing them to be equal friendly at an early age can benefit the US in a positive way. If you get the time to post back on this comment, post it on http://dillmanapenvironmental.blogspot.com
You have done a marvelous job! I am really inspired with your work.
I believe this is a great idea because kids can start to get an understanding about how to keep our enviroment clean. Very well done!
Hey Dave!
All power to you for being so dedicated to helping our enviroment! I also think its so funny how you were found to be on the show! Howevver, such a great way to inform kids and spread ways of becoming eco-friendly!
Hey Dave!
I am a student at White Oak Highschool and I am taking an AP Earth Enviromental Science class right now. We just finished up on our solid waste unit and found out about you! I think it's awesome that you were able to teach kids about electrical cars and how much they will benefit us! If this younger generation buys electrical cars when they start driving then that will be one step closer we are to being a more eco-friendly nation!
Thats very cool. My little brother loves handy manny. I think its a great idea to infuse these green thoughts into the minds of younger kids. Its a great way to begin a green revolution!
Hey Dave,
I'm a junior at White Oak High School and after we finished talking about solid waste, I was interested in how any one person could make a difference. I see that you have because you have so many people looking up to you and trying to make themselves as eco-friendly as you are. I'm glad you could teach kids how to do the same and I want to thank you for being a great role model to everyone.
This is the post to my teacher's AP environmental science blogspot

I love this! I'm so glad that Disney is taking it into their responsibility to inform kids about being green in a way they will understand. I think it's really important that you learn young. Cool that you inspired this!
Hallie
Thanks Halie. I just found out that the first episode won an environemntal media award as well. Quite cool.
Hi, I'm Gillian and I find this very interesting and it must have been very exciting for you to create. I have a little brother and sister and they watch Disney Channel all of the time. I have noticed that they have been doing a "go green" bit for quite some time now. I've always thought that doing a voice for a cartoon was really cool.
Although I am 17, I love Disney Channel. I grew up watching all of these shows and I think it is awesome that Disney has started to take part in teaching children about being environmentally friendly. I have always wanted to do something like this. I bet it was a great experience.
