Eyeopening. I can only hope we were this resourceful. Any insights on how something like this could exist in America?

Dave,

I sister who lives in California who tried to be "trash free" for as long as possible and she only managed just over a month.

More power to your efforts!

As an orchestra student myself, I know the meaning the sound of music can bring to one's life. This video just proves that everything can be made to be beautiful. I think it's amazing that such a community could come together and find creative ways to use what they have efficiently. Not only do students now have a way to express themselves through music, but they also get the chance to be an example to the rest of the world. If one small community, filled with trash, in an undeveloped country can create a sustainable lifestyle, why can't the rest of the world adapt to the changing environment and bring the world back to great health? There is no excuse for out ignorance. Change started in Cateura, Paraguay. I have to say, I think this is our chance to make a difference. Thank you for sharing this video. I'll be sure to pass it along.
