- 1 cardboard cake box - disposed of due to health reasons (scmooshed frosting everywhere)

You probably thought about this, but just wondering... did you try to wash the frosting off?
It's been a while since I've commented, but I see that you must be either getting too many comments or you're getting spammed. I hope it's the former, as I'm hoping more and more people are finding out about your project. Hope your dad's doing better.
I actually did try washing the frosting off, but due to the greaselike nature of the stuff it still smelled pretty sweet and my concern was with bugs digging it. I actually salvaged what i could and gave some to the worms but I'm not sure how much they'll dig it so i held back.
As for moderating, a little of both. But mainly one annoying spammer that i can't seem to get rid of any other way. Such is life on the blogosphere I guess. Good to hear from you.
