UCS Resource For Alternative Vehicles

I've always been a fan of the Union of Concerned Scientists because they are scientists and they are concerned, so how bad can they be right?  (By the way, if anyone mentions that I believe in science I'll deny it, what with the witch hunts and cultural revolution coming down the pike).  Here's a link to a great resource on electric vehicles of all sorts and the (gulp) scientific information that should be considered with this new technology.  As always it's worth mentioning that public transport and bicycles are a far better choice than anything.  Enjoy.

Its awesome technology, which provide substantial benefits compared to today’s conventional gasoline cars & definately a great source to reduce global warming.We at Zed work towards saving energy everywhere possible to save the Earth & Enviornment.so our prime focus is to reduce the overall impact of the built environment on human health and the natural environment.

I agree with you Dave even though electric cars are cool it would be smarter and cheaper to just hop on your bike and pedal to your destination.

Hopefully soon all of the cars in America and the world will be able to predominantly run on electricity.

I agree with the previous comments and you as well Dave. I cant wait to see the day when electric cars, bicycling and public transportation become a way of life. I don't think we'll ever turn into a world of bicycles because the feeling of having something gives you sense a power.

I cannot wait until we use bicycling and walking as a way of transportation like we used to. It just seems like this would be the best ways to save our environment because motor vehicles of any kind do have some environmental effects.

It would be awesome if more people would start riding bikes or walking more places, or if scientists would create a car that runs on something more renewable and safe than oil.

It would be great to see every car in the US runing on electricity someday. Mabey if we continue to work on the electric battery to make it more reliable we will see that.
