- 1 set of film sides - recycle/worms
- 1 staple from film sides - garbage
- 1 muffin paper wrap - worms
- 1 plasticaoted mailer - garbage
- 2 pieces scrap paper - recycle
- 1 plastic wrapping from cut flowers - recycle
- 1 local newspaper - wroms/recycle
- 1 glass beer bottle w/top - recycle
- 1 plastic packaging from tofu dogs - recycle

I'm not sure what staples are made from but I chuck tea bags and their wrappers into the compost bin. I figure the staples in the tea bags will provide some iron at least.
I can't imagine staples hurting anything if they ended up in the soil.

Actually, I spare the staples mostly for the worms. I'm sure they'd be fine, but I have this inate fear of harvesting the castings and finding one impaled on a staple, so in the garbage it goes. I'd put it out in the lawn, but then the kids will impale themselves! Maybe the staples just need to go.
