For anyone interested in getting reusable bags and in need of a push, Reusablebags.com is having a huge sale right now. If you can get something local that's made locally go for that first, or better yet, make them yourselves, but if not being able to pick them up is holding you back, here's a good opportunity.

They are having a sale now too and for September, which I realize is half over, they are offering free shipping for orders over $50. But wait, there's more! 1% of all sales go to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment. I figured I'd add in the sale info for their site since I found them via this post.
I learned of this because I just ordered a couple BPA free cups for my son and a grocery sack set that comes with produce bags.
One thing I've learned with the 0 plastic grocery sack goal (of which I have only slipped up twice, in my defense those bags have seen use in transporting soiled cloth diapers) one can never have too many reusable bags and we really did need a solution for the produce bags. We had just been reusing the same flimsy plastic ones we had accumulated from before our decision to stop using plastic bags.
We're still looking into options for eliminating the plastic bags for breads... mostly a combination of a lack of free time and our own laziness.
