What will you be doing with the trash should it not end up in a museum? (apologies if this has already been answered)
Why not just put worms in a landfill?
Isn't all of the ink from the various paper items bad for the worms?
The most important aspect of this experiment/exercise is the writing down and keeping track, which is so useful in many other endeavors. If everyone kept a diary of all their waste, there surely would be less of it. The same with smart utility/electric meters where the consumer can visually see how much power they are using at any time of day. This also applies to budgeting. If one writes it down and see how much income and outgo there is, this can alter one's financial habits.

love what you're doing. i'm doing a year-long project too but it's not nearly as good for the environment!
heh - what a joke - when I worked for an auction company in upstate NY we unloaded a house where they had labeled, dated, and stored their garbage in paper grocery bags for over thirty years. This was in the mid 70's and we saw dates into the 1940's. I think you should really do the right thing and rename your site 10950daysoftrash. THEN you might have something notable. Make a real commitment.

From what I understand the ink that's really a problem is the ink on those glossy color mailers. The other stuff seems to be fine.

Well the idea to put it on ebay has come up, as well as possibly giving it to a trash to energy company. Either way, I'll try to come up with something interesting. Any ideas?
