How does the worm recycling work? How big of an area do you have an how fast do they break down the things?

Hey Pete,
Good question. As I recall, we were at a back to school picnic. I had my backpack with me so I'd normally use my bowl, but my daughter got food for both of us while I was talking to another parent, so the plate was mine. She's six so I can't really fault her and was really proud that she did it on her own without asking. My point is always to do the best that i can, but am always aware that other things out of our control happen.

Consume Less, Conserve More!!!!

Hey Big,
Look over on the right hand side and you'll see that little label cloud. Click on worms and scroll down and you'll see two worm videos that should explain everything. Hit me up with any questions but the simple answer is, about 12"x12"x3' and they break it down completely in a few months. Very little smell, the occasional fruit fly and some little crawly guys but no big deal.
