KROQ Tomorrow

Kevin & Bean will be interviewing me on KROQ tomorrow morning at the painfully early time of 6:20 AM PST. For those of you on the left coast who aren't functioning well that early in the AM, I believe they carry it streaming live, but also replay later in the day so you can hear it after you've had your AM coffee.

Listen to it streaming and later in the day here.

Hi, I was listening to Kevin and Bean this morning and that is where I heard what you're doing. I have to say it was a real eye opener (or should I say ear opener...?) I think you're doing this for a good cause and I wish you the best of luck. Still I have to agree with what Bean said this morning, you're house is going to be filled with trash by the end of this...

Also, I have a question, are you worried about rodents finding your basement and crying in glee, 'Paradise?'

Again, good luck wiht your project and I'll be checking in on you less than a year!

Not too worried about the rodents as I'm cleaning anything that may be problematic and at least for now keeping it in containers. We'll see where it goes though.

dave this is great what you are doing. i heard you on the kevin and bean show on friday [yes i was up that early] and again this morning to open their show again. i've been really interested in your experiment since i've noticed my boss [a chiropractor] is really health conscious, so she provides arrowhead drinking water in the new eco-shaped bottles for her patients. i guess she is somewhat helping by providing those less impact bottles, but at the same time creating more [waste.] either way i applaud you for taking the time out to bring so much attention to this great cause. its too bad not more of us have the patience and good human nature to do what you are doing. good luck to you and your family [friends as well] since they will have to see you go through picking out products with less packaging.

Thanks so much for the props. So they replay parts of old shows? The bit was on this am again? Surprising but cool.

I guess if giving water is important than the less plastic the better. Ask your boss if they can have bottled water (or better yet install a filtration system which will save them money in the long run) and use those paper type cups which I believe could then be composted. Just a thought if you are looking. I would imagine that as with massage, hydration is key in chiropractic situations, but there are lots of ways to achieve that.

Thanks for posting.
